It’s easy to get caught up in the rush and busy of preparing for the holidays. Don’t forget to take a few moments for yourself. It’s important to catch your breath, recharge, and pamper yourself – if only for a short time – in order to truly be able to enjoy everything that the holidays have to offer.

This morning I was visiting Beautyholics Anonymous where I read Tine’s post about Christmas Lemmings (Amongst Other Things) when two things occurred to me….

One, why don’t we say phrases like “amongst” in California?  It flows so much sweeter than “among” does. 

Two, I haven’t given any thought to what I’d like for Christmas, but if I had my wishes, it would be something that made me feel very girly – soft and fragrant, just the way my guy likes me.  He is always sniffing me and then going , “Mmm…” I love it.
