Elegant Jewelry from Chrissy Cook

Chrissy Cook is an up-and-coming jewelry designer with a unique, elegant and modern take on jewelry as modern art.
She’s originally from a small arts community in Pennsylvania, but traveled to London, England to complete her studies in jewelry design.  She’s worked as a goldsmith for the past seven years, but has just released her first collection of sterling silver jewelry to the public.
All the jewelry is hand-made by Chrissy, using a combination of sterling silver, enamel and semi-precious stones.

Fall has arrived with a gust of wind and snow in my neck of the woods… which has inspired my Etsy pick for the weekend.
The trees are rapidly losing their leaves, but at least there are leaves you can wear year-round that will never fade or drop!

Bold Facets from Eliza Page

Eliza Page is a unique jewelry boutique, based in Austin, Texas.  They specialize in high quality, handmade jewelry, with more than half of their designers coming from inside the city.
Their jewelry is modern, elegant and very wearable!
I’m quite taken with several pieces that use large, clean pieces of faceted semi-precious stones like garnet, topaz and amethyst.  The stones are handled simply with gold bezels and findings, which means the stones really get a chance to shine on their own.
