By now I’m sure you’ve heard about one of Fall’s biggest trends, statement necklaces, but what about statement watches? Probably not right? Statement watches are not your average watch, they’re usually larger scale, over sized, and double as bracelets. I found a couple examples on the Shopbop website to show you.
La Mer Carbon Multi Chain Watch ($110) I really love the metallic sheen of the leather strap and the mix of silver chains. This watch is fully adjustable, you decide how snug to you want it wrapped around your wrist.

Stirrup Tights Are Back

You can love them or hate them, but stirrups are officially back. About three years ago I really really wanted to wear stirrup tights and I couldn’t find them anywhere. I had to either pull my footless tights down around my heels or go to a dance store and buy the real kind that are functional for dancing. I didn’t need anything functional, I just liked the way that they looked! I am so excited to see that the trend has caught on and now finally stirrup tights are available everywhere!
Here are some of my favorites…

Over in the Accessories topic, I wrote about the newest fun and quirky tote bag from Marc Jacobs. Although that tote would make a great gift for someone, not everyone can appreciate or work it into their every day lifestyle. Which brings me to these matching and equally fun and playful wristlets from Marc Jacbos.
These playful Mouse, Owl and Cheshire Cat wristlets ($98 each at ShopBop) would make great gifts for the girl with a great sense of humor. It also wouldn’t hurt to give these to those who are a fan of Marc Jacobs (like myself)! These wristlets have …read more

While some designers stick to what they do best, the classic styles and colours, you can always count on Marc Jacobs to add a little quirky playfulness into his handbag designs. He’s not shy about incorporating different colours, textures and adding more than enough embellishments (ahem, the Louis Vuitton Tribute Patchwork bag, anyone?). The newest bag from the Marc by Marc Jacobs line is no exception.
The Flights of Fancy Shopper ($428 at ShopBop) is definitely not your average tote bag! It’s made of pebbled leather dyed in about 10 different shades creating a playful scene. You may have noticed the …read more

Shopping in different ways is always fun. Sometimes you may feel like running to the store to pick something up, other days you may feel like taking a long day trip to the mall. Other days, it may be a long trip on the couch to different websites to find the perfect outfit. But, sometimes you just have no idea how to find the perfect item! Of course you can always “google” it, but a lot of times “black tie affair” dress isn’t going to pop up in your search results unless a designer named the dress “black tie affair.” What …read more
