American Apparel Shiny Stirrup Tight in Wine $14

I have a lot of these because American Apparel was one of the first stores to have a wide selection of colors.  They are super cheap so you can stock up on as many pairs as you want!  They are very shiny, which gives them an authentic 80’s look.  Don’t get a color that is too light because the combination of shiny and light will add weight to your legs.

Hue Opaque Stirrup Tights $12

If you are a fan of the Hue brand for your stockings, then you can pick up a pair of these at most major department stores.  These are opaque, which looks really great and also makes them a little warmer.

Only Hearts I Heart Stirrup Tights $55

I love these!!  This pair of Only Hearts tights combines two of my favorites tights into one: the dotted mesh and the stirrup.  So cute.  Can you see why I love them yet?

Paint Palette Stirrups in Blue $28

I have a pair exactly like this that I got at Express last year and they are so fun to pair with a simple black dress when you want to add a little pop of color.  Wear them with a mini and patent pumps and you are ready to enjoy a night out even if it’s the middle of winter!

Eugenia Kim Hailey Headband in Coral $49.50 (reg. $99)

I have been eyeing this knotted silk headband since I first spotted a similar style on Gossip Girl last season.  It has multiple soft strands gathered and braided to create a beautiful piece in coral.  There is a thick elastic band at the bottom for a comfortable fit.

I also love this option on sale with a combination of patterned white and black with solid red silk strands.  These soft headbands look great with soft curls and a dressy look.  This season Eugenia Kim will release updates to this knotted Hailey style in new fabrics and colors.

The Dreamy Logo Pocket Pouchette ($298) is shown here in a beautiful Rust colour. It’s made of leather and embossed with randomly placed letters spelling out Marc Jacobs‘ name.  The rust shade is perfect for fall and it’s complemented by the dark brown leather trimming and strap. The strap itself is a mix of gold metal links and leather. It hangs about20″ so it’s comfortable to wear cross-body or simply on your shoulder.

Outerwear Picks from ShopBop

It also wouldn’t hurt to give these to those who are a fan of  Marc Jacobs (like myself)!  These wristlets have just enough quirk to bring a smile to just about anyone’s face.   They’re all just about 5″ x 4″, which would hold the basic essentials like one’s ID, debit cards, cash, lipgloss and maybe a mobile phone too.  They’re all made out of leather and feature contrast patchwork colour designs and brass logo stud details.   Cute, right? I’d pick the Owl, because I just love the colour combination and well, he’s cute too!

Quirky Marc Jacobs Wristlets

The Flights of Fancy Shopper ($428 at ShopBop) is definitely not your average tote bag!  It’s made of pebbled leather dyed in about 10 different shades creating a playful scene.  You may have noticed the animals featured on this bag; two birds, an owl, a mouse and a raccoon.  Each creature and even the tree, heart and apple is accented with a brass stud detail.  The double handles weren’t ignored in the design either, it’s croc-embossed patent.

The tote closes with a magnetic-snap and the interior is fabric lined and features a zip pocket and two patch pockets.  There’s a lot going on with this bag but it’s also not as wild as some of the other Marc Jacobs creations we’ve seen in the past.    Oh and did you notice the “cloud 9″? You gotta love Marc Jacobs‘ sense of humor, no?

Each one is gorgeous and luxe without trying too hard.  If you ask any handbag lover, or fashion fanatic, one of the top pieces one should have in a bag collection is  a gorgeous black handbag.
