Kenzo is a company that is always trying something new. They will take one their established fragrances and tweak it, make something new with the addition of notes, all new packaging, etc. It’s one of the reasons that I really enjoy writing about them – there’s always something interesting going on.
A good example is the new Kenzo Power Cologne for men. They started with the original Amber notes of Kenzo Power and followed in the tradition of the early 18th century colognes by opening with fresh, aromatic citrus notes.

The Fresh Scent of Lemon Verbena

I used to have this favorite bottle of Lemon Verbena scent – I think it was an eau de toilette – that I got a few years back during a clearance sale at Bath & Body Works. They no longer carry the scent and I couldn’t find it anywhere. I loved the smell – fresh, crisp, citrus-fruity, but not a sweet fruity.

Mariah Carey’s New Fragrance Forever

Mariah Carey is pretty busy these days. Her movie Precious is coming out soon, she’s got a scheduled appearance planned for VH1’s series Storytellers (love that series!), and her newest album, Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, drops at the end of September.
September also brings the launch date of Forever, her newest fragrance.
“I am in a wonderful place right now, surrounded by all the things I love, and Forever captures this moment in time,” said the entertainer, whose first scent, M by Mariah Carey, launched in September 2007.
