I’m currently inh Australia after short stop over at Singapore. I’ll be spending the holidays here with my sister. I took a 10-hour flight (MNL-SGP-ADL)and hit Aussie soil on last Friday morning, 9-ish.
Exciting, yes? I’m actually looking forward to exploring the local Indie fashion scene in Australia. Hoping to discover fabulous Aussie talent. Wouldn’t it be a great thing to happen here at Indie Style File? I welcome new things and awesome inspirations.

Today is the last day I will be posting on Indie Style File.
We’ve had a great run and I totally appreciate each and every single page view, comment and e-mail I’ve gotten over the past year.
I’ve enjoyed talking to you, meeting great indie designers and showing them to the world.

In about ten days, this blog will cease to exist.

I’m sorry this week has been so lacking.
My life has been ridiculous since some serious work stuff went down last month.
I’ll be back on track for the rest of the week, promise.

I’m in Chicago this week for some career-related stuff and to visit friends, but you probably won’t notice because I was a busy, busy girl last week.
I’m still checking in and I’m hoping to get a few posts in here and there. While I’m here, eating some gigantic pizza and hoping to stop by CB2, what indie-ness should I check out?
I’ve been here plenty of times, but I’ve never had a chance to go look for awesome boutiques.
Suggestions?

I woke up to realize that I had finally succumbed to the illness that I’ve been fighting all week. I’ll get some posts up, but I opted to sleep this morning rather than work….

Happy Fourth of July! Go out and enjoy the day, some fireworks and your friends and family. I’m spending the weekend with my adorable nephews and family.
