Juicy Couture Chyna Knit Slippers

Cold weather means big sweaters, warm scarves, and even warmer feet. Last week I wrote about some very extravagant and luxurious socks made by Miu Miu that would be great for the lady whose feet get cold. But, if the socks aren’t enough, then you may need some slippers to keep you warm too. And, if, like the Miu Miu socks, regular slippers won’t do, you may need to upgrade to some more fashionable slippers.
Check out these fashion forward, yet fun Juicy Couture Chyna Knit Slippers that you can pick up at ShopBop for $68. They have embroidered and sequined …read more

Microwaveable Aromatherapy Bunny Slippers

Everyone loves a pair of soft, cozy slippers. Though they are a little cliche, slippers are actually a great Mother’s Day gift idea. But this year, instead of traditional slippers, pick up a pair of microwaveable bunny slippers for your mom instead.
These cute and comfortable slippers from Warm Whiskers will soothe her tired feet. You can heat them up in the microwave to relax aching feet or put them in the freeze for swollen feet. getting “cheekie” with Juicy Couture

There’s nothing quite like tucking your toes into a pair of slippers on a chilly morning and curling up with a cup of coffee.
Of course, you’re a shoe-phile, not just any kind of slipper will do!
How about the girly “Cheekie” slipper by Juicy Couture?

Or if that’s a little too much pink for you, it also comes in winter white

Christmas treats for yourself

As well as being a joyful time of year, the holidays can sure be stressful too!  My neck seems to be one solid knot from dealing with all the little last minute things that pop up
Want to know what I suggest as a little treat for yourself?
Wrap yourself up in this:

Tuck your feet into these:

Throw on your favorite holiday CD (I’m a big fan of the Charlie Brown Christmas!) and make yourself a cup of something delicious.   I’d suggest a nice big cup of white hot chocolate or a nice minty green tea.
Relax and enjoy yourself!

Do as I say… not as I do

Working from home, I practically live in my slippers and it’s always this style that I like. You can wear them with a skirt or a pair of jeans and you don’t look dorky. But here is the kicker. Make sure that you check out the soles. In te past, I never bothered looking and wore holes in them within a couple of months. Yes, they were on sale and now I know why. So now, I always look! And just in case you are interested, these slippers come with a leather sole. You can pretty much bet that you …read more

Christmas Slippers – Comfort Food for the Feet

It has been a tradition for years and years for everyone in the family (except Britt) to receive a pair of slippers for Christmas. During the winter months, I literally live in mine. But for some reason the slipper gene never got passed along to our darling daughter. She prefers a pair of indoor running shoes instead. But I have to admit, she doesn’t have to slather her feet with foot lotions to keep the dry skin at bay. I don’t know if it has anything to do with wearing running shoes, but there is definitely a difference.
But …read more
