Sandals, Sandals, Sandals. I love them with all my heart. I know one of my fellow bloggers here at Splendicity, Kori, doesn’t appreciate a flat sandal as much as I do. But, too bad! If I could be buried in a pair of flat sandals, with a great pedicure, True Religion Jeans, and a plain print blue Banana Republic T-shirt I would.

I loved the butterfly detail on this shoe, but then I took a second look – it’s a jelly shoe:
I don’t know if it’s just bad memories from childhood, but I recall jelly shoes looked wonderful on the shelf, but always gave me terrible blisters. If I could get over the blisters to wear them more than once or twice, they seemed to fall apart really quickly.

When I worked in the business world my feet were covered up 9 out of 10 days of the week. On that tenth day though, you bet your fashionable butt, my feet were out in open, showing off pretty manicured and pedicured toes. I love shoes, I love luxury, I love luxury shoes. So, putting these two together just made my day. Hopefully it will make your day too. Well, until you realize these MM6 Maison Martine Margiela Toe Sock Sadals look ridiculous.
Someone please explain to me why I would want to wear a flat, with a spot for my toe with a leg warmer attached…that also costs $395. Seriously. This looks beyond ridiculous. I am all for fashion risks and rebellion, but I want to know who in the house of fashion said these shoes were alright to go to production.
