The “strong-shouldered” look is everywhere this season. Personally, I love it, especially when it looks a little over-the-top. Not over-the-top in a football-y, 1984 kind of way, but in a Ziggy Stardust, space ace kind of way. Like this.

I’m completely nuts for this season’s strong shoulders. I’m not looking for that overly padded, footbally look that was so in vogue in the 80’s, but most of the new shoulder pads are smaller, more delicate, and a little pointy. Point in case:
