Liz Claiborne specializes in addictive brights, it seems! I took a peek at the website, and it’s definitely dangerous for the girl who happens to be seduced by paint-box hues (that’s me, btw!). If you are looking for something really cool, head over there, where tops are much more inspired than we’re used to seeing.

I never thought that I would ever say that I like pantsuits, but here I’m saying just that. I don’t know what has changed about them, but they don’t look anything like I remember. Oh, there is one thing, you aren’t going to find heavy blouses worn beneath. Now it is a simple t-shirt of even a tank top.

You just can’t have tooo many. They can be layered under blouses when you aren’t sure of the weather and then move right into summer. And from what I have seen so far this season, they are getting pretty fancy! On the other hand, a handful or so of the basic tanks are not a bad way to go while building your tank wardrobe.
*Be sure that you look for ones with built in bras. The less you have to wear during the summer months, the less I like it!

I looked and looked and looked and finally decided on these espadrilles. I thought that the color was perfect and I liked the fact that there are “ribbons” what tie around the ankle. Even the texture seemed to work!! The ribbons just do such great things for ankles!!
And now for a handbag. I picked a tote in colors that I thought would compliment the belt, the shoes and the cargo pants. I thought that this outfit would be perfect for a wander along the beach.

Can’t say that I’m liking this trend. Yes, I like all things sunny, but some of the fashions and accessories I’m seeing are just too in your face yellow. Not only are you seeing yellow dresses, you are seeing purses, earrings, shoes and bracelets. No, I think I’m going to have to stay with the soft neutrals.
But I have been known to change my mind, so be warned! This particular tank top isn’t half bad, so I guess it’s all in the shade you pick and how much yellow you are using at one time!
