Steal the look: Erin Lucas from The City

As I’ve mentioned before at length, one of my extreme hair stylist crushes is Liam Carey of Ted Gibson salon.
Apparently, I’m in good company.
Thursday evening, Erin Lucas (from MTV’s “The City”) spent the night at Greenhouse in New York City, acting as the celebrity mixologist for a Three-O Vodka’ party in honor of its new “Bubble” flavor.
Before the event, Erin had her hair styled by my hair-crush, the one and only (celebrity hair stylist) Liam Carey.
Liam gave Erin a sleek shiney look to match her hot pink frock while celeb make up guru Brian Duprey (Pictured, Brian is at left, …read more

Seventies Throwback: Hair Goes Retro

All indicators say that big hair is, well, big and getting bigger. Our favorite starlet we love-to-late, Heidi Montag, already has been sporting the big hair for a while.
The trend is evolving though as the seasons change, and throwing in a little inspiration from a bygone era along the way.
If you are looking forward to your fall ‘09 hair style already — and who isn’t? — I’ve got you covered.
I consulted the advice of David Babaii, who says you may want to consider some hints from the ’70s.
Remember the 70’s shag?
It was all about disconnected layers – David Babaii says …read more

Heidi and Her Dry Shampoo

While under normal circumstances, I’d probably not confess to knowing anything about I’m a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here … believe it or not, what I am about to discuss is topic appropriate.
But anyway, on a recent episode The Hills‘ Spencer Pratt (our favorite curly-haired hot head since Steve Sanders), flipped out because Heidi’s dry shampoo was stolen.
In fact, the dry shampoo was a major plot point of the episode, and if you read the various net rags today, everyone is using that as exhibitive of how shallow and ridiculous she is.
I disagree.
Were I in that situation – I, …read more

A Good Flat Is Always Good For Work…

I will admit it. I count down the days until the new episodes of The Hills. I love the premeditate drama, the dyed hair, and well, the fashion. People Revolution, Teen Vogue, and now Smashbox has been added to the mix. Lo Bosworth just recently started her job at Smashbox (see this week’s episode entitled Keep Your Enemies Closer).
This week’s drama was capped off with some “miscommunication”  between Stephanie Pratt and Laura Conrad at People’s Revolution. While taking in a quick lunch, Stephanie whined about her “stressful” work situation, to Lauren.
While not getting too into gossip, Stephanie moaned and groaned …read more

Season 4 Finale of MTV’s The Hills

Season 4 Finale of MTV’s The Hills

Lauren Conrad, Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port looked beautiful in the Season 4 finale of MTV’s The Hills at Tavern on the Green in New York.

The girls arrived by horse drawn carriage and The Pussycat Dolls performed. While Lauren Conrad donned a short dress, both Audrina Patridge and Whitney Port wore long gowns in shades of red.
I’m not digging Whitney’s look at all. Though I adore the Bohemian look, she overdoes it with her colorful floral headband and her tiered burgundy dress.
What do you think? Which of these young celebs looked the best?
