Did you know that recycled pop bottled are used to make all sort of useful things? They can be melted down and spun into polar fleece… and now you can wear them on your feet!

Timberland has just released a collection of shoes using post-consumer recycled materials called “Eco-Conscious“.

While that might sound like strapping bit of used cardboard to your feet, you know what?

The collection is very wearable!

This is the red suede “Baldaci ” ballerina style flat.

I love this idea! You get to select the style, colour, height, sole color – even create your own monogram! Timberland offers custom boots for men, women & kids too… the one downside? It’s only available for customers in the USA.
