Oh, Desira, why do you always hit me where it hurts? Right in the “I’m broke, but I want that” center of my being. How did you know that I’m totally obsessed with purple, florals, silks, and drapey, amorphous things? Am I so transparent? Maybe, but check it:
The simple gathered style means that this blouse can be worn a number of ways. Me? I’ve always been inspired by vintage fashion. Though, my personal style leans more towards the contemporary and mod, I’m slowly incorporating certain pieces that will allow me to branch out into a look that more close to vintage.
I’ve always loved silks and I find sequins fascinating so wouldn’t this top be an interesting addition to create a Vintage look?

The hardcore street chick in me re-surfaces sometimes and I find my style leaning towards graphic prints and casual street fashion.

cezanne-inspired top
image:socialartfashion
The whole idea of social art fashion totally blows me away.
This etsy shop is focusing on combining art and fashion in a fantastic way. It’s like the Project Runway challenges where they ask the contestants to create a design based on art…except you can buy this stuff.
This top is inspired by Cezanne’s ‘Bathers at Rest’ and has a gorgeous look to it.
The fabric is dyed and painted and is a work of art itself.

grey & charcoal key hole top

So maybe you can’t wear a bra with this top. That’s OK.
They keyhole in back is so sexy and not overtly in your face hot. I think showing off your back is a great demure way to look your best. The darker grey stitching and accents are fantastic.
$89 from $100. Size small
