It’s never too early to start thinking about the Spring season. Before you know it we’ll be seeing photos of the celebrities living it on in the Bahamas and Caribbean during the New Year’s holidays in their itsy bitsy bikinis, big sunglasses and their overstuffed tote bags (have you ever wondered what secrets they are hiding in those tote bags?).

If you’re trying to channel the Holiday season via one of those traveling celebrities then you may need to pick up one of my Spring picks, this Tory Burch Jaden Satchel in a great fuchsia color. Tory has stepped away from the studded rock star look that over powered many of her handbags this past season and went back to a more classic understated style with this one. It has signature Tory Burch gold toned hardware with two handles with a zip top (to hide all those celebrity secrets!). It measures 14” wide by 10” inches high by 6” inches deep with a 6” inch handle drop.

It’s not every day where you can find designer items for less than $100 (unless they’re on sale, natch) so when I was browsing through the Tory Burch holiday gift guide section of the website, I was pleasantly surprised to see they have a section of items priced at just under $100!

If you’re wondering what to get for your friends and family, Tory Burch has some really cute items that would be perfect for just about any fashionista.

Natessa Logo Tee ($95) – A cute and casual tee to wear whilst running errands or shopping. This tee is also available in black and magenta.

Animal Scarf ($95) – A cheetah print in magenta? Too cute! Such a great way to perk up those winter outfits.

Tory Burch to Launch Eyewear Collection

In only five years I have watched Tory Burch explode as a designer. In 2004 she debuted with her colorful patterned tunic dresses, and now you can find her recognizable logo on everything from boots to handbags to jewelry. To continue to expand Tory Burch as a lifestyle brand, in October Tory Burch will be debuting a first ever eyewear collection. I have images from the collection to share with you before the designs have been released to the public!

The Tory Burch eyewear collection fits in with styles that are fashionable today with modern takes on classic vintage styles. Tory was inspired by old photos of her parents travelling in the 60s, 70s, and 80s to exotic locations like Greece, Morocco, and Istanbul. She used classic looks from icons like James Dean, Peter Fonda, Steve McQueen, and Faye Dunaway.

Tory brings her great sense of style to all of her lines, so I expect that this new eyewear collection will instantly be a hit among women who are already loving her clothes and accessories. To complete your entire Tory Burch outfit, the sunglasses will pair perfectly with the Tory Burch tunic dress, Reva ballet flats, and oversized tote that you already have in your closet.

Seeing Red with Tory Burch

What colours come to mind when you think of this time of year? I always think of deep, dark and saturated jewel tones. By now you know purple is the colour to invest in this Fall and Winter but another old stand by is my favouite colour, red. Whether you want a deep red or more of an orangey red, a bold red bag will immediately perk up your ensembles.

Here’s one by Tory Burch that is equal parts stylish and modern.

This gorgeous Lipstick Red Tory Burch Nico Lux T Tote ($495 at Nordstrom) is a fantastic bag to use for work or play. It’s quite roomy at 16″W x 11″H x 4 1/2″D and the shiny patent leather is divine. It screams glamour and the textured logo design is an easy way to incorporate this fall’s ‘texture’ trend into your look.

Have you started to look for “the” winter coat yet? Still not sure which trends need to be in the coat for everyone to stop, stare, and ask you, “Where did you get that coat? I have to have one.

Look no further then the Tory Burch Annabel Ruffled Leather Coat from Nordstrom. Not only does it cinch in right where every girl needs it to, right at the hip, but it also has the perfect ruffle. The ruffle isn’t so big that you look like a pirate, but it isn’t so small that you have to point out to your friends that there is a ruffle accent on the coat. The coat has even more detail than the ruffles, with buttons on the cuffs.

It is currently in the pre-order stages at Nordstrom. It is $850 and comes in sizes 0-14.

If you you want something a little less trendy then this nipped in ruffled coat, try the Elizabeth and James “Elizabeth” Shrunken Leather Blazer (also from Nordstrom) for $495.
