Along with all the holiday decor and outerwear that is overtaking all the stores, it’s also nearing the time for stores to showcase resort collections from designer labels.  Resort collection clothing and accessories are a selection of pieces that are specially made for the holiday season and run through January.
Basically, the pieces are targeted for those lucky few who go on holiday to some tropical location while the rest of us suffer through the cold temps, rain, sleet and snow.

Yesterday I mentioned very briefly that outerwear is worth the splurge. Whether your definition of a splurge for outerwear is $100 of $1000 there is no doubt that a black trench, no matter the price point is a great option for any fashionistas wardrobe. And if you’ve gone from a fashionista to a frugalista but haven’t lost your luxurious taste, then looking back to last year’s trenches and coats may not be such a bad option.
