I don’t usually dig boho, but if it’s done well, then it can be cool. Think Led Zeppelin, 70’s rock style boho versus, oh, I don’t know, some brightly colored Grateful Dead 80’s reinterpretation. Anyways, this tunic is rad. Check it.
The multi-layered caftan style has smooth, flowing lines that I love. The pattern is dark enough for me to dig it, and the print is actually amazing if you look at it up close. This is one sexy shirt! Tunics tend to have a stigma in the plus community–too many loose and baggy ones out there–but this one is great in all the key spots. Salon Z managed to make this tunic look really curvy and sexy, and it even has a deep v-neck to finish things off just right. In love!

Squeee! I promised myself I wouldn’t buy any tunics, but can you see why I am stuck here? This white-trimmed tunic from Jones New York is ultra-summery and light, but it’s under $40 and available up to size 3X. The perfect pick, in my opinion, albeit one that will find itself in close company with a lot of tunics of similar shapes filling up my closet.

I frequent the website etsy.com because I like to support the efforts of crafters and work-at-home-mothers. If I’m going to spend money on clothing, it might as well be original and beautifully made.
