One of my favorite sunglasses trends this summer is new bold colors. Sometimes a fun name really gets me excited about a product and elevates the design to a whole new level. These sunglasses by Paul Frank are called “Sunshine Clouds & Everything Proud” and they come in a beautiful Aqua Seafoam or Burgundy Seafoam color. Paul Frank is a designer known for his whimsical designs, so I’m not surprised to see that he brought the same light-hearted concept to the naming of his sunglasses!
I love the deep turquoise of the frame paired with the pale sky blue on the …read more
Chunky Crystal & Turquoise Necklaces

I love this fantastic statement necklace from jewelry designer Stephen Dweck!
It features two strands of big, chunky faceted clear quartz crystal and two accent beads, made from carved turquoise. The clear crystal keeps the necklace from being overwhelming – so you get a statement necklace that won’t overwhelm the rest of your outfit.
If you take a close look at the necklace, you can see that those accent beads are actually koi fish, curving around the beads:
The necklace is finished with a sterling silver clasp in the shape of an orchid.

Give your sweetie this pretty matching necklace and ring by Daniela Swaebe. Daniela Swaebe is a “second generation adorner of women”. Her jewelry collections are inspired by nature’s wonders. Her signature ‘organic glamour’ style uses gem stones, mother of pearl, turquoise, coral and pearls.
From Daniela’s Petal Collection comes this lovely Turquoise Petal Necklace ($4500 at Neiman Marcus). It’s made of solid 18k gold and adorned with turquoise and pave diamond (.55tcw) insets. The pendant measures about 1.25″ diameter. It would look gorgeous with a little black dress and is not too flashy for work.
There’s even a matching Turquoise Petal Ring …read more

Turquoise is becoming more and more popular in jewelry once again. It’s showing up everywhere from Project Runway to high-end luxury jewelry.
Jewelry designer Michelle Roy has taken polished turquoise cabochons and mounted them onto leather to create her unique cuff bracelets:
I think the bracelets would be a great accent to a casual outfit – maybe with jeans and a crisp white blouse for lunch, or even a summery dress for a fun evening out with friends!
You can also add another dash of color and add some red coral to the bracelet as well.
