Sweet, Cakey Goodness – In a Nieman-Marcus Bag

Now I am one who likes sweets, but this is just tooo much.

This Cupcake Clutch by Nieman Marcus is a hot item, especially by bag lover’s in blog-o-land. What’s everybody saying?

The Latest Luxe says to go another route to curb that sweet tooth, gals!

The folks over at Team Sugar are divided about the topic. Must be all of those carbs!

Fasshonaburu suggests renting it from Bag, Borrow or Steal.

Sassybella updates us on what flavors are currently available. Apparently some purse freaks bought all of the strawberry ones.

The Glamazon Diaries thinks it’s cute. But then again, she wouldn’t mind if her friends bought her one. How many friends does she have?

Danielle at Delleicious gives her overview of the bag. But then, she IS a cupcake connossieur as she writes about them on her blog, going throughout the D.C., Maryland and Virginia areas looking for cupcakes. What does Danielle know about cupcakes anyway? (A lot, I guess!)

OK, here’s MKE Cupcakes, another cupcake connoisseur. What’s UP with these folks and their cupcakes conundrums?

Well, if Nieman-Marcus continues peddling these cupcake bags, what’s that going to do to our waistline – for our checkbooks? At a sweet price of over $1,900, I doubt if I could EVER afford one of those babies. I get a sugar high just thinking about it.

Would you buy a purse like that, or just let one of your FRIENDS give you one?

Granted, I am not the tekkie-type, nor am I totally dense about computers or gadgets. I learn what I need to and the rest I leave up to someone else, like our awesome technical team here at b5media. Our technical team worked night and day last week to restore an outage that left several of our blogs out for a while. It was a tough time there for a while, but they made it work and got us back online. I wonder if anyone had a bag like this? Come on. This is a bit much. A diskette handbag. Would YOU carry one? Maybe if I get one, next time they’ll let ME help fix the computers, ya think?

A Solar-Powered Handbag – Now That’s One I Don’t Have

When I saw this solar-powered handbag, I thought, “hmmm, now that’s one my friends don’t have!” But then again, I don’t know if that’s a good or bad thing.

How does the bag work? That’s what I wondered. Look at this:

“uses a solar cell on the outside of the bag to suck up energy from the sun. Power is stored in an internal battery which then supplies juice to the lining of the bag, made from an electroluminescent material. The zipper of the bag acts as the switch, turning on the illumination when it’s opened, and then off either when the zipper is closed or after 15 seconds.”
