The Vera Wang people really know females – my daughter is in love with this ad campaign and she’s still working me to get the Princess sample bottle for her own. It has the cutest little crown at the top.  I think it’s safe to say that this appeals to “princesses” of all ages.

I like the fragrance – a Fruity Floral.  It smells a bit like a fancy raspberry chocolate to me. Not an overly sweet chocolate, but a grown-up chocolate, one of those that comes in a beautiful box, almost too pretty to eat.  My only problem with the scent is that it fades fairly quickly. I wish it was available in an eau de parfum.

Zoe Kravitz Is Vera Wang’s Princess

Don’t get me wrong, I do have one LBD, but it’s so L that it just isn’t that versatile. In my quest to fill this gaping hole in my own wardrobe, I’ve come across three LBDs that are timeless classics, and even better, totally on sale.

This striated silk wrap detail dress will be the perfect go-to staple for a lot of occasions, from dinner out to a night at the opera. The sheath shape is universally flattering, and the pleating and bow detail at the waist bring attention to the narrowest part of your body.

This silk georgette ruffle front dress is feminine and romantic. The asymmetric neckline adds a little edgy interest to the bust. This dress, by the way is navy, not black, which makes it a LND instead of an LBD, but it’s equally versatile.

This short silk cotton dress is so classic. The a-line shape is great for every body, and the gorgeous sheen on the fabric makes it a must have for many events. You could dress it up with heels and pearls, or dress it down with some preppy flats. Either way, it’s simple and perfect.

Say what? Vera Wang was a trained figure skater in a past life so this could get interesting! Sources linked to E! have confirmed that she is the first to sign on to the next season of DWTS, but ABC reps have neither confirmed nor denied her stepping into some snazzy high heels and showing us what she’s got on the dance floor.  And, as of the time of this post none of her reps had returned any phone calls to confirm her addition to the cast.

We will just have to wait for the rest of the cast to be announced. This usually comes about six weeks before the show premieres with much excitement. The show premieres on September 21, 2009.  Mark your calendars reality TV and fashion fans alike, I’ve got you covered!
