Leviticus Jewelry makes jewelry and accessories with an interesting twist.

Their work is a combination of cutting-edge style, blended with vintage materials. Their necklaces all seem to have a sense of humor as well as tons of impact.

“Chivalry” – with the added tag line “chivalry is not dead”:

Raw brass and silver plated chains draped from a beautiful raw brass filigree on one side and attached to detailed raw brass shield and a silver-plated dagger on the other side with side lobster clasp closure.

“International Metal“:

Mixed metal foreign coins hung from multiple oxidized raw brass chains with lobster clasp closure.

“Harold Hughes”

Antique medal dated “1931″ suspended from a gunmetal chain hanging from multiple gunmetal chains and a sterling silver plated thick chain with lobster clasp closure. You can also get a different name placed in the medal as well.

I shared some of my favorite picks with you all when I was trying to track down a particular bird necklace. I still haven’t found the perfect one, but I did find a charm with two birds sitting on a branch on it. It’s got a little empty nest between them – they look forlorn somehow.

I decided to take matters into my own hands and glued three little robin’s egg blue beads into the nest. I attached a plain silver curb chain to the ends. I’m quite pleased with how it turned out!

My SIL inspired me to go hunting for more bird necklaces – but this time, I wanted ones that looked like tattoos…

I saw a young woman wearing a gorgeous necklace with a silver bird (I think it was a barn swallow) on it the other day. I immediately wanted one for myself & I’ve been trying to track one down I haven’t found the exact one – but these are pretty close!

This is Shana Logic’s “Antique Swallow” necklace.

I adore this “The Birds & The Bees” necklace from PickyPicky!

I think this brass necklace by Aversionx is the closest one so far…

Somewhere in my jewelery box, I’ve got a silver sparrow or barn swallow charm – it may be worthwhile spending some time in my jewelery studio and creating my own version
