Have you heard of Bio-Oil? I am interested in products that have a unique history. I just received a sample with facts and background information about this multi-purpose skincare product that has been available since 1987, but only in the U.S. since 2007. Bio-Oil was created by German cosmetic scientist Dieter Beier in South Africa as a hybrid product that combined functions of a nutrient-rich oil and a highly absorbent cream.

I am thankful for the day many years ago when women’s skincare transitioned from the bar soap with the washcloth to the body wash with the loofah. Since that day, the drugstore aisles have been overflowing with new and improved body wash products for me to investigate.
