Wedding cake toppers are usually plastic, generic, and not that memorable. Of course there are plenty of custom options out there that include cutesy clay characters and delicate carved wood figurines. But I have seldom seen anything as sweet as these bird toppers.

A couple of weeks ago I wrote about this amazing moss ring bearer’s pillow, which initiated an elaborate fantasy on my part about the weddings of wood nymphs.
