Gossip Police! Whitney Could be Out At DVF!

Paging the Gossip Police! According to Page Six the second season of The City has started filming and Whitney has not been seen at the DVF headquarters.
MTV won’t comment on the going ons of the second season, because it is being filmed as we speak. Word on the street, though, is that Olivia Palmermo (who I cannot stand!) has beaten Whit out for a promotion at the Diane Von Furstenberg location in London.
Whitney has been seen working at her old gig at the People’s Revolution with Kelly Catrone and Creative Director for Elle magazine, Joe Zee.

Diane Von Furstenburg Fall Fashion Week 2009

Chloe already mentioned the attack of the pom-poms at the DVF show earlier this week…but did the hats distract from the real stars of the show, the dresses?
Thank you God, I could not go a day without seeing animal print! This dress is a mishmash of animal prints with a cinched in waist. I like how it has some animal print, but it isn’t overboard. It can obviously translate from runway to real world. The sandals with socks, not too much, though. The hat. oh my. I’ve seen worse though. I’ve said it before; I adore everything to do with Laguna Beach, the Hills, and the City. So, when I click our photo sources everyday when I start getting ready to post, I cross my fingers for good photos of the stars of the show to write about their fashion hits and misses.

Reality TV (or unreality as some like to call it) is my guilty pleasure. When I found out a few months back that Whitney Port of the Hills would star in her own Laguna Beach –> The Hills spin-off at Diane Von Furstenburg I was not only jealous of her opportunity (she is my age), but also stoked about watching it.
A few days ago, however, I caught an article at NYMag.com which questioned her employment at DVF. Several employees mentioned their inability to work and the lack of actual work done by Port.
