We just got an early blast of winter – which made me remember that I hadn’t replaced my old pair of winter boots.

There’s nothing quite like waking up to two inches of snow… and the realization that you having nothing to keep your feet warm and dry!  Hey, at least it’s a good excuse to go shoe shopping

I woke up this morning to an unpleasant surprize.
Snow.
Lots and lots of snow.
I am not a happy camper.
I decided I needed to find a pair of boots that say “I’m going to be fashionable, even though it’s winter!”
I think these boots might accomplish the task:

But the most amazing thing about these boots – they’re made by Ugg.
Yes, the same people that brought us the abominable snowman look
They’re the “Stella” in almond leather by the way…

I can’t believe that just a few days ago, I bought three pairs of flip flops while I was in Florida and they have now been packed away until the Florida weather catches up with us. And I’m thinking about winter boots! Yuck doesn’t even come close, but if you are in need of some nice warm boots, you might as well take advantage of the sales. This particular boot has just been reduced to $95.40. I’m hoping that we won’t be needing them for much longer, but who knows??

I wonder if I can come up with a really good reason to invest in a new pair of boots. How about the fact that I don’t have winter boots that are brown? Doesn’t really matter that I seldom go out during the winter. That will just make them last longer… right? And these are so gorgeous. I don’t think I have found anything by Steve Madden that I didn’t like.

I have never been one to like bows and things… girly, but I like these boots. The bow at the top just adds something unusual! However, if you don’t care of the bow but like everything else about the boot… good news. The bow is removeable!
