Gap has a winter collection of the coziest-looking slippers I have ever seen! I’ve never tried the slipper bootie before, but as a combination between a a sweater, a cozy pair of socks and a thick durable pair of slippers it seems like a pretty genius invention. I can just imagine cuddling up on the couch with a hot cup of cocoa, a DVR full of Gossip Girl and Project Runway episodes, and some Gap slipper booties on my feet for the best weekend ever.

I’m loving this new crocheted scarf from Anthropologie!

My apologies to those of you still suffering in summer heat – we’re going to talk jackets today!
I love this new motorcyle jacket from Rock & Republic:
It’s their “Paice Washed Leather” jacket.
If leather isn’t quite your style, how about a lambswool melton jacket from L.A.M.B.?
I love that turquoise color!
And since I seem to be going with bolder colors today…
How about this merino wool jacket from Alexander McQueen?

To prove that Roberto Cavalli also knows his way around the classics:
Voila! The classic, elegant wool trench coat.
I admit, it does have leopard print lining, but wouldn’t that look stunning on a blustery winter day?

Despite the fact that many big Canadian designers chose not to participate in Toronto Fashion Week this time, we have seen very impessive presentations, including aboriginal fashion by Fashion Nations and very elaborate and expensive leather and furs by Izzy Camilleri.”
Okay, I’m really liking this style for next year, but I want to put this winter to bed before I even think about what we will be wearing next year. But I know …read more
