There’s nothing I like better than convertible clothing. Especially when it’s actually convertible, unlike some of those mass-produced American Apparel scarves or whatever that they sell as a scarf/tube top/miniskirt/necktie. I also really like wrap dresses. They are extremely figure forgiving in both the long and short term. In the short term, they look good on almost everyone, and in the long run, their adjustability means that if you put on a few pounds or lose a few, they still fit just as well.

This heather grey number is totally versatile. I especially love the way the collar transforms from a shawl collar to a cowl to a wrap front and back again. I love choices! And the fabric is medium weight cotton and viscose, heavy enough for coverage, but light enough for summer. Oh, and did I mention that you can wear it 7 different ways? While many of us may be tempted to wear dark colors, long sleeves, and sweaters come the winter time, I sometimes choose to buck the trend and wear fun flirty and bright colors to stand out. While shopping this weekend, I found a perfect dress that fits that description; this Diane Von Furstenberg Victoire Silk Faille Wrap Dress.

It has that certain punch of color that is sometimes lacking in the winter months. The ruffles are also spot on for the season. There’s also a belted tie for you so you don’t have to use one of the belts that is already in your closet for those sweaters and shirts you already own. And check out that popped collar in the back.
