3 Tips for Cleaning Your Mascara Brush
A mascara
is only as good as its brush. If you have a dirty, clump brush, you’ll have clumpy uneven eyelashes. Here are a couple of tips for caring for your mascara brush:
- Never use water to clean the brush because this will dilute the mascara. Every week or so, wipe the brush thoroughly with a tissue to remove dried on gunk.
- Don’t pump your mascara brush in and out of the tube. This brings in harmful bacteria and spreads it around causing eye infections.
- If you need to wash your brushes, use an eye makeup cleaner and dry thoroughly before returning to the tube.
