6 Little Black Dresses for New Year’s Eve

Every woman needs an LBD (little black dress). 

I’m talking about something simple, with classic lines, that can be accessorized for any occasion.  Add a jacket, belt, and sensible pumps and it’s conservative enough for a business meeting.  Substitute a scarf, gold hoop earrings, and some heels and you’re set for dinner out with the girls or your favorite guy.  Change to some glitzy jewelry and high-heeled strappy sandals, and you’re set for a party or gala night out on the town.

If you’ve been shopping for a LBD lately, you’ll notice what I call the Michele Obama trend in dresses.  Lots of sleeveless sheaths. 

But what about if you’re not is as good of shape as our next First Lady, or perhaps of a certain age where sleeveless is not the best choice?

There are still some options out there, but you’re going to have to look a little bit harder.
