You’re busy. I know. You eat on the run, put mascara on at stoplights, put on lipstick walking down the street, fix your hair when you get to work, and work through lunch. And it’s all taking it’s toll on your body and how you look
Time to put yourself back in control with these 7 simple ways to take care of yourself.
- Schedule a check up. It’s so easy to put it off, but having regular check ups can help with early detection of anything serious, and if there’s nothing serious just serve as a quick little tune up.
- Get a mammogram. Do we really need to say anything more here?!
- Watch your numbers. Know about your lifestyle impacts your blood pressure, body fat, and cholesterol levels. Don’t go for some health scheme, learn how to live so that you are in control.
- Exercise more. You’ll feel better and look better. Ever notice how skin positively glows after a work out?
- Eat more fruits and vegetables. If you insist on eating on the run, at least make it good food. In addition to being a natural source of energy, fruits and vegetables have the vitamins that keep your body in peak condition.
- Relax. Easier said than done, I know. Try to make it part of your day by curling up with a fashion mag, a good book, a hot bubble bath, a massage, or enjoying a hobby.
- Sleep. It will help keep those bags under control, and can help make you look like a million bucks, so why is it so easy to sacrifice sleep?! Try for seven to eight hours a nights, and watch the difference both in your energy level and how you look.
Take care of yourself to look better, feel better, and have lots more fun!
