The important thing to do is stay hydrated, whether it's with water in a bottle of your own that your bring or one that you buy.

There are lots great stainless steel bottles out there. Personally, I can't use stainless steel because for some reason it's like nails scraped on a chalkboard to me. There are good "plastic" versions available as well, though, and some fun and fashionable choice.

I gave up buying bottled water last year (do I need to say why? plastic, wasted resources, costly, etc) but I travel a ton and like to stay hydrated. I fill my stainless steel water bottle at home, finish it before I enter security (they are fine with you taking an empty bottle), then I refill it on the other end. All the restaurants have filtered water for free on the soda machine. Once you start looking there are plenty of places to refill your bottle with safe, even filtered water at the airport. The best is that on the plane when stewardesses fill your stainless bottle with water they always give you more than you get in that little plastic cup! If you need a good bottle my friend sent me a coupon code to get 20% off at PuraStainless.com. The code is: give me 20. They have fun colors, a lifetime warranty, and stainless steel caps... Safe travels!
