8 Reasons I Can’t Wait For Project Runway!

Season Six of Project Runway returns to television on August 20th at 10pm ET/PT. It’s been quite a while since we heard Tim Gunn say “make it work” or said “Alveterzein” to a struggling designer. Here’s why I’m so excited to see this perennial favorite back on the air!
Heidi’s Fashion
I can never seem to get enough of how chic and likeable Heidi is. Though she may look like she could be a stuck up supermodel, there’s something very down to earth and kind of cheeky about her. She makes even the sexiest clothes look wearable!
Heidi’s Baby Bump
I should also mention that throughout the season, she will likely be showing off more and more of that baby bump! That’s been one of my favorite things about past seasons – even though I’m totally envious of how gorgeous she looks while carrying a baby (I don’t think I’ll be that lucky!) it’s so sweet and kind of inspiring too

Tim Gunn’s Quips
There’s nothing quite like Tim Gunn entiring the design workshop and carefully critiquing a flailing design. He doesn’t take cheap shots at all…which is why those words clearly sting all that much more!
Nina’s No Nonsense
She has little patience for cranky designers and isn’t afraid to point out why a design would never make it off the runway or into someone’s closet. She doen’t let them get away with anything at all.

Guest Judges
Who will be the surprise guest judges this season? there are always famous celebs, as well as some of fashion’s most iconic figures impressing their knowledge on these baby designers.
Michael Kors’ Snarkiness
Some of the things Michael Kors says actually has me laughing right out loud. He’s not mean exactly…but he’s just so catty about runway disasters, it’s hilarious.
Those Tense Final Moments
How can you beat that somber music with the almost sterile soundstage holding all that tension? It’s especially great when there’s not such an obvious choice for who’s going home.
NYFW Finale!
Oh, they better end each season at New York Fashion Week again. That’s the best part because you see these reality TV celebs actually in their element, surrounded by people they would like to consider peers. It’s so cool to see.

I have been waiting for it to come back for such a long time. I heard its move to L.A is going to be awesome! So close to home! Has anyone heard that Project Runway has chosen FIDM as their West Coast location???Is that true? Because that is really cool! THAT IS MY NUMBER 9 Reason to watch!I wanted to apply to the college this fall!I havent forgotten about you Project Runway!!!
