A Winter Scarf Wardrobe

With much of the United States and Canada suffering through a winter cold spell, the one thing you can’t have too many of in your wardrobe is scarves.
Whether they’re designed to keep you warm while romping in the snow, keep the chill away from your neckline beneath a coat, or serve as a fashion statement, it’s one accessory you won’t want to be without this winter.
Here are a week’s worth of scarves to suit most any and every occasion.

From Martin + Osa, a featherweight, warm, and luxuriously soft, lambs wool and cashmere blend scarf. It comes in solid colors as well as plaid, and can be mixed together to create a third look. Sale priced at $29.95.

At Bloomingdale’s pick up Theory’s Greenwich wool ombre patterned scarf. Warm and soft-washed with frayed ends, its available in pecan. Sale priced at $59.50.
A classic scarf in a class pattern, the cashmere Burberry plaid comes in trench(ivory) or camel. Pick up at Neiman Marcus for $265. I have never seen these scarves on sale, so if it’s on your wish list, just save your pennies and buy it.

For a lightweight, yet still warm, option try the Faux Pashmina Twist Wrap available at JC Penney’s. The soft, silky fabric will wrap around your neck or drape across your shoulders, giving you a variety of ways to wear it. Sale priced $13.99.

Go a little wild with the Echo Cheetah Square scarf from Macy’s. Available in black and olive, this 40 inch square can be folded, drapes, and tied in a number of different ways, giving you lots of value for your buck. On sale now $33.48.

Alexander McQueen’s Italian-made chiffon skull scarf comes in a variety of colors and adds a little rocker chic to any wardrobe staple Available at Sak’s for $260. While not a big fan of skull wear, I had to look really closely to identify that’s what these were.

And finally, from Nordstrom you’ll find this Juicy Couture Logo Triangle Scarf. Available in black and pink, the wool scarf sports the signature Juicy logo, and is finished off with long fringe. $95.
There you have it – a scarf wardrobe that will have you stunningly dressed and keeping warm all winter long.
