Sunday Shopping: Victoria’s Secret

Some upcoming travels have me sharing an apartment with three guys, and that means finding some sleepwear that is lightweight, provides full coverage (I’m not looking for a sexy look to hang out with the guys), and can serve just as easily as lounge wear (morning coffee on the patio and a nightcap in front of the fire).
My search took me to Victoria’s Secret, where I’ll have today’s shopping spree.
First up, a couple pair of pajamas that will be comfortable, cool in the warm weather, give me a little warmth for the cooler nights, and provide sufficient coverage that I can hang out with the guys.

The short sleeve cotton pajamas are a little form fitting, but still practical. In a variety of bold color combinations, the longer length top will be nice and comfy. $35.
The cotton Mayfair pajama has a nice washed and worn feel (comfy right from the start), with long sleeves and a button front top. This comes in a variety of colors and patterns, and I’m leaning toward the golden tones “bedtime story” pattern. On sale, $30.
Now that I have pajamas for the trip, I headed over to Victoria Secret’s beauty department. I found a couple of favorites there, along with a some new body product to try as well.

Beauty Rush Lip Gloss was something that I discovered when I forgot my lip gloss at home. It comes in a couple dozen shades, and my favorites are Pearadise (a sparkly white, pear scented gloss that adds high shine over any color of lipstick) and Passion Fruit Pop (a great pink-ish berry color that matches up great over a couple of my lipstick shades and makes a terrific non-made up look when you need it). On sale now at 2 for $12, or 6 for $25. Stock up your favorites or discover some new shades.
I love discovering new bath and shower products, and the Blackberry & Tonka Bean Restorative Body Wash looks like a good choice to nourish my aging and drying skin. Full of all sorts of good vitamins, essential minerals, and shea butter, it’s will gently cleanse my skin while still renewing it. I bet it smells great, too. $10.
For travel, and that pesky limit on liquids and gels, it’s often easier to pack a bar of soap that take a tube of body wash. I’m going to nab the Vanilla & Sandalwood Moisture-rich Body Bar for just that reason. I’m not typically a fan of sandalwood, but love vanilla. I think the combo here will yield a pleasant smell, without being too sweet or too woodsy. This is a pure vegetable soap, with shea butter, and is sure to keep my skin nourished rather than stripping it of its moisture. $10.
This shopping spree’s price tag is $99.
