7 Reasons to Buy a Bespoke Hoodie

Bespoke, custom, personalize, call it what you will, but it’s a term I think of when talking about suits, shirts, and ties, and NOT when I’m talking about a hoodie.  House of Billiam is changing that, by combining classic British suiting fabric with decidedly un-suit like clothes.  The result is a bespoke hoodie – handmade, made-to-measure, and made from beautiful fabric.
Sure, you’ll pay a little more for this hoodie (prices start at about £150, free delivery), but there are lots of great reasons to buy an original:

10 Ways To Dress Up Jeans And A T-Shirt

I’m all about jeans and a t-shirt. It’s an old standby I always feel completely comfortable in – provided I have taken the necessary measures to make sure the outfit still comes together and doesn’t slide into the dreaded category of…sloppy.
Given just how many pairs of jeans and piles of t-shirts reside in my closet, I’ve picked up a few tips along the way on how to make this outfit work with minimal effort. Here are a few tactics I recommend.

Christopher Blue Julianna Crop Stretch Jeans have a curvy fit with a slightly higher rise.  Very flattering.  $148.

I don’t know how to explain it precisely, but looking around a group of travelers here, it’s pretty easy to spot Americans.  Generally speaking, we seem to be a little more casually dressed.  More likely to be wearing t-shirts and clothing with sayings written all over it.  And, we tend to wear white athletic shoes – all the time.
So far in my travels, I’ve …read more

9 Pieces for a Baseball Date

It’s baseball season again, but it’s not quite warm enough for summer wear.  If you’ll be heading to the park, the key is to dress in layers.
Wear a pretty top, but make sure you have a warm coat to layer over.  Keep your sunglasses handy, but also wear a fashionable hat to keep your head warm.  And that doesn’t mean a baseball cap girls!  A pair of shortie boots are practical and can keep your feet warm.  Mix up some quality pieces with casual wear for a chic outdoor look.
Here are my 9 selections for a chilly spring game:
