I walked by Aldo the other day and almost swooned when I saw what was on display for Fall. So many colors, heels that are actually wearable and the foundations of a highly covetable boot collection.
For that afternoon at least…I walked away empty-handed. I must think about this, I told myself. No sense in rushing into anything when the next best pair could be waiting just a couple weeks away. We’re right in the thick of fall previews and freshly stocked shelves…patience.
After further research, I’ve found the five pairs I want the most. They will be hard to resist, I …read more

When trying to decide what to purchase, always think about where you have holes in your wardrobe – it doesn’t make sense to get yet another cropped blazer if you already have four in your closet and no boots to combat the slushy, rainy days! Go for pieces that have a slightly trendy flair but be careful not to go overboard and make a mistake …read more

Consider all the purple options that you have:
Dresses – from elegant evening wear to sun dresses to business attire, purple makes a bold fashion statement.
Skirts, pants, and top – these will let you mix and match when you don’t want to be decked out entirely in purple, and allow you …read more

By Guest Blogger Lara Kulpa of Kinsanity and Dating Dames
The Avenue is one of my favorite plus size shops. Their clothes are trendy, not “senior citizen” looking, and they fit nicely.
