What will the color trends be for Spring 2008 fashion? Here are the Top 10 Colors for Spring 2008 as released by Pantone.

Ever wonder who names these colors? Me too. Some of them are way off the mark. Still, a nice selection.

1. Golden Olive

2. Spring Crocus ( I like this color, I could never pull it off but I like it a lot.)

3. Roccoco Red (More like a pink if you ask me.)

4. Pink Mist (Has anyone ever seen a pink mist? Me neither.)

5. Croissant (Who knew croissant was a color? Kind of makes me want to make a bakery run).

6. Freesia (That’s yellow to us.)

7. Cantaloupe (This is not what a cantaloupe looks like!!)

8. Daiquiri Green (I don’t know if I’d drink a daiquiri this color. Would you?)

9. Snorkel Blue (No the ocean is not this color. But it’s a beautiful blue. I’d wear it.)

  1. I like the blue, ‘red’, crocus, and freesia the most.

Normally, I can’t wear yellow because it amplifies the yellow in my skin. Same goes for pink, too.

Yesterday, though, I bought a yellow jacket and a ‘fuchsia’ trench coat because they somehow looked great on me. I think they were actually freesia and roccoco red, or very close.

All the colors are attractive, its the adjectives that are off base. As far as gray is concerned, I would like gray hair, mine’s hitting the floor.
