Why I Liked Confessions of a Shopaholic

I had the chance to watch the movie Confessions of a Shopaholic on my last flight. This isn’t a movie that’s going to change the world, and it doesn’t pretend to be. It’s just light-hearted and fun, so don’t take it all too seriously.
- I adored the book! And while the movie was a bit different, of course, it was still a great chick flick.
- You’ve got to root for anyone who gets a journalism job at a magazine right out of university.
- Who doesn’t dream of waltzing right into any store and making any purchase that you fall in love with?
- Shopping is an addiction, but the movie deals with it in a soft way.
- Clothes. . . shopping. . . and more clothes and more shopping.
- While there is no incredible romantic chemistry between Rebecca and Luke, there’s still a feeling that there could be something special.
- Come on, be honest – haven’t we all wanted to just ignore a bill when it came due.
Have you seen the movie? What did you think?
