Clinique ‘Turnaround Body’ Body Cream

I’m a big fan of Clinique makeup and skincare products. Lately, I have been using their “Turnaround Body” Smoothing Body Cream ($28.50). And though, I don’t believe in any miracle skin creams, this one is fantastic.
If you have cracked feet, ashy elbows, uneven skintone, or just overall dry skin, this Clinique cream will leave your body feeling silky smooth. I use it at night on my feet and legs, then wear white cotton socks to bed. I’ve noticed a significant change in the texture and appearance of my skin. Plus this cream just feels good when you are slathering it …read more

Did you see the Old Spice Gift Set that I wrote about the other day? You did? Good news! I’m going to be giving away 5 of those babies. The giveaway is for the Swagger fragrance and it contains the following:
…full-size versions of Red Zone products; Body Spray, the Deodorant, the 8 Hour Body Wash, a “Deck Scrubber” shower tool, and a small size of the 16 hour Odor Blocker Body Wash.
I’m not a fan of overly man-scaped men (why do they insist on messing with their eyebrows?). I do, however, appreciate a man who smells good and has nice …read more

Gift Idea: Old Spice Gift Set
October 31, 2009 by Michelle Smith

The Old Spice of today is very different from the Old Spice my Grandpa used. With a quirky-cool new ad campaign and a new product line with scents like Swagger and After Hours. My teenage son has used the Swagger line – the body wash, body spray, and deodorant. The products smell good and work effectively, which is an important selling point where a teenage boy is concerned. Hey, sometimes teens are stinky, this makes them not stinky, good-smelling even.
Old Spice sent me this huge gift set yesterday. It holds full-size versions of Red Zone products; Body Spray, the Deodorant, the …read more

Have you had the opportunity to try any Sabon skin care of bath products? I use their Organic Serum all the time. It’s made with ingredients like Macadamia Nut Oil. Really nice stuff. All the Sabon products are made of good quality ingredients and they come in the cutest containers – like apothecary jars and bottles.
I was looking at some of the items in their online gift shop section and they have a line of fancy soaps for men and women. The Chocolate Dream soaps are wrapped and would look great as part of a gift basket of bath products.

Good skin care is a passion of mine. I’m always lecturing anyone who will listen about washing their makeup off before bed, using sunscreen, moisturizer, or a good mask treatment.
Kenzo sent me a sample of their new Kenzoki: Marshmallow Mask to try for review. Here are a few points about me that you might not be aware of 1) I love Kenzo and 2) I will try anything with the word “Marshmallow” in the name.
Kenzoki: Marshmallow Maskis part of Kenzo’s Sensual Rice line (I tried the Barefeet Fantasy Food Creamfrom the same line). The mask is designed for use by …read more

Just because shorts season has come to a close, that does not mean that I’m going to skip my sunless tanner. I want my legs to look their best all year long.
Last Summer, I had the opportunity to try ModelCo’s sunless tanner with the sponge-tip applicator. ModelCo is a pioneer in the faux glow field, they really know their stuff. They are perfecting their self-tanners all the time with new ways to apply or new formulations.
This week I got a sample of the ModelCo Body Meringue Glow to try for review. It’s a mousse type sunless tanner product that comes …read more
