Bath & Body Works Review

I’ve been a fan of  Bath & Body Works products for a long time. I love some of the older fragrances like the Coconut Cilantro Lime and I will forever miss Cilantro Lime or Lime Basil. Whatever the lime-combo, it smelled incredible.
The people at Bath & Body Works sent me a few of their newer fragrances to sample for review. The products were:
*Sensual Amber Shower Gel
*Warm Vanilla Sugar Body Lotion
*Midnight Pomegranate Hand Cream
I liked all the products – the moisturizers made my skin soft and smooth and the Shower Gel was super foamy. I was surprised by the fragrances. With …read more

Have A Martini With Your Bath

Bath & Body Works has some of the cutest gift sets. I really like the “What’s Shakin’?” gift sets that pair Bath & Body Works Signature Collection with a clear, colorful martini shaker. What a fun idea! The price is right, too, less than $17 for the entire gift set.

What’s Shakin’ Cherry Blossom
$16.50 at Bath & Body Works
The set includes a Signature Shower Gel, Body Lotion, and Fragrance Mist in Cherry Blossom. All are 2 ounce size containers. A Liplicious Cherry Vanilla Gloss is added for “mouthwatering flavor.”  The martini shaker dimensions are 3 3/4″ x 3 3/4″ x 9 …read more

Soap That Looks & Smells Like Dessert

I have to admit something… I love soaps that look like things other than soap. Like food or flowers or animals or toys.   I’ve seen soap shaped as fruit or cupcakes. It’s so cute and clever and yeah, a little corny, but I like corny.
Castle Baths has soaps shaped like pie or candy or cake….

Chocolate Cake & Ice Cream Soap
$17.95
The set includes two slices of scented chocolate cake soap, a scoop of ice cream soap, and a serving plate. The soap is handmade.

Key Lime Pie Soap
$15.95
The price above is for each single slice of cake. Each piece looks and smells just like …read more

Tips For a Relaxing, Romantic Massage

Short on funds for Valentine’s Day this year?  A good gift does not require a lot of money. Skip the fancy night out on the town and treat your sweetheart to a night in. Make a romantic meal, take a bubble bath, light some candles, play a little music – you know how it’s done.
One of my favorite romantic night in treats is a good massage. If you are new to massage, here are a few key things to keep in mind:
*Make sure the room is warm enough.
*Turn lights low, turn off the TV, and set a relaxing mood.
*Use long, slow …read more

Get A Little Color

Get A Little Color

A couple of things happened that got me to thinking about getting some color on this Winter-white skin of mine. First, I was talking to a friend on Facebook today. I asked if she changed her hair and she explained that her icon photo was from when she looked, “younger and tanner.”  Then, tired of bundling up, I decided to wear a Spring/Summer dress around the house. My arms and legs look naked. And not in a good way.
I need some color. I’ve still go some Model Co tanner left over from my last review. It’s a good product with a …read more
