If eyes are the windows to the soul, then sunglasses are the “do not disturb” sign. I wear them all the time. Sometimes indoors, even, if the light is florescent or offensive. Not at night. That’s kind of lame, and it would just make me feel like Bono, who is, as far as I’m concerned, the very definition of lame. Anyways, these shades are one of the best looking “do not disturb” signs I’ve seen in a while. Check it.

I love that these will cover basically half your face. The shaped is not too square, but not totally rounded off, so it has a sort of techy look that I really dig. Available for $98 on Gilt. But not for long, sunglasses go fast on Gilt.

This ring looks kinda like a rock I picked up in kindergarten and made into a ring with aluminum foil and kinda like something that belongs in a glass case in a fancy store. Check it.

The high-low balance of the ring is really seductive. I love the totally organic, jagged shape and the ultra-whiteness of the silver. Plus, the color gradation is so perfect. I know that nature did that, not the artist, but it’s really a masterful design. Available for $120 from Masaoms.

I can barely contain myself right now. I want this article of clothing so badly that every part of my brain is screaming, “Debt? Who cares about debt? You’ll be rich someday, and you won’t always look hot in leather mini skirts, so buy it, now!” Shut up, brain, I’m trying to write. Check it.

I know. It’s lace up and it’s leather and it’s kind of slutty. But it’s okay for things to look slutty as long as they’re practical. Right? RIGHT? I know you’re with me. Plus, as a bonus side swipe to my desire center, it really reminds me of the skirt the goth chic (who gets slayed by David Bowie) was wearing at the beginning of The Hunger. Check it.

I don’t usually dig boho, but if it’s done well, then it can be cool. Think Led Zeppelin, 70’s rock style boho versus, oh, I don’t know, some brightly colored Grateful Dead 80’s reinterpretation. Anyways, this tunic is rad. Check it.

The multi-layered caftan style has smooth, flowing lines that I love. The pattern is dark enough for me to dig it, and the print is actually amazing if you look at it up close. I’d wear it with leather pants, or better yet, skip the pants and just rock leather thigh high boots and a wide cincher belt. Available for $68 from Idea2Lifestyle.

I know. I almost never write about stuff for guys. But let’s be honest about who my demographic is. I know. Some of you have boyfriends, or better yet, some of y’all are just not scared to rock something from the boy’s section. Well, here’s something.

Shazaam. I’m freaking out about how much I love this hoodie. The photorealistic feather is really spot on. It adds the perfect little touch of artsy ethereal badass to your comfy cozy sweats. White on black is a major plus. Downsides? None that I can see, except that I literally own like 20 other hoodies. Only ten of them are black, though, so there’s always room for more. Did I ever tell you that I knit? Well, like any good domestic goddess, of course I do. I know, you don’t care. And you think that it’s not relevant. But it is! Because I can tell you right now that I wouldn’t even roll my yarn into a ball for $34.99, so it’s an amazing price for a pair of very cute fingerless gloves. Check it.

Now, some of you may only want these for Halloween, but you’re fools. Fingerless is the wave of the future. Know why? Because I am typing with them on right now. Yes! Gloves you can type in. In the past year or so, a number of headband trends have come along. There was the feather fascinator trend of last spring, and looking even further back, the preppy Blair Waldorf headband trend of last fall. Oh yeah, and the skinny hippie/hipster headband look of Nicole Ritchie, there was that, too. I, for one, think it’s time for some new hairwear.

I’m completely nuts for this take on the headband. It’s totally glam, but lies flat on your head, unlike most fascinators. And stylistically, I think it could go from night on the town to ubergoth with a quick change of eyeliner and footwear. Available for $24.99 from Ice Cream Candy.

The silhouette on these pants is completely insane. They have that classic pleated paper bag top, but with an exagerrated wide leg that kills me. Check it.

The sheen on the linen is gorgeous. You could really dress these up with a shiny top like they’ve done, but you could also rock them with a wifebeater and some brightly colored skimmers. The tailoring looks really top notch, and the label gets rave reviews. Of course, I can’t make any personal promises without holding them in my hands, but these trousers look seriously upmarket for the price. And, to top it all off, they company is family run. Jackets are supposed to keep you warm. So, they should have sleeves, right? Sure, if that’s all you want your jacket to do. But if you consider the more expansive role of a jecket in tying an outfit together, then maybe short sleeves are okay?

Duh. Of course they’re okay! Especially when they’re not only adorable, but also feminine and refined. I’m totally nuts for this little number, even though it isn’t the most practical option for winter. Luckily, I live in the sub-tropics, so it isn’t exactly impractical, either. Anyways the high neck and delicate pin tucks bring soft structure to an otherwise amorphous option. I’d rock it with a tulip skirt and gloves. Why not? Available for $60 from Etcetera Peru.
