I have my eyes on quite a few items, and one of those items at the top of my Wish List is this Nanette Lepore Paradise Top. It would look awesome with a long cardigan (you can get those there too!) and skinny jeans or a casual blazer and for the office. It embraces the ruffle trend, but they are not too over the top. It is 100% silk and is $228 dollars.

However, I don’t know if I would be able to be seen with Mr. Valentino with this scarf around his neck today. Purple and gold was a good color combination as a middle school athlete. I had to wear it to my volleyball and basketball games but, as an A-list celebrity fashion designer this look is a bit questionable.

I do not doubt that this scarf is amazing, pricey, and luxurious…but the almost Indian look paired with an almost business casual suit just is not a good look.  But, then again, he is Valentino and he can do almost anything. Maybe I should just be quiet.

The vintage look makes them look like they’ve been around the rodeo once or twice (maybe even three times!) and the toes look super broken in so they will probably be very comfortable once you get them out of the box. They are $1,165 but, if you’re totally going all out on the Western look then this may be the right look for you.

You can pick them up in the dark black as pictured or in a more brownish inspired look. But, whatever color you get you must wear a cowboy hat with them. Even if the cowboy hat isn’t “in” this season. And that’ coming from a tried and true Texan.

Speaking of dresses, I’ve found a great LBD by BCBGMaxAzria that would be great for the holiday season. It has a sweetheart neckline with a shutter pleat and some tulle trim. It measures about 18 inches long from the natural waist. The original retail value for the dress is $565. After the B*Fly sale the price will go up to $339, however, currently it is $288. That’s such a great price for such a great party dress.

The dress is professional but is a bit chic with a dash of uniqueness. I do like how the buttons down the middle do not line up, but there might be a bit too many buttons for its own good. The ruched shoulders and cuffed sleeves are interesting as well. Personally, however, I think the strong shoulder is throwing me off. If the strong shoulders are not throwing you off, though, you may pick up the dress at Shopbop for $1,095.
