I did a similar deal at Macy’s this Halloween– they were giving away free $10 gift certificates this past holiday, and I picked one up and got a super-cute pair of panties.

This Black Friday, I am going to be doing the same: running into JCPenney and grabbing a $10 gift certificate to do a little research + shopping. I might be getting gifts for other people, but you know that I can’t resist a sweet sleepdress picked out by myself… for myself!

Now, I’m definitely going to look into these pieces more closely– hunting them down in the stores to check the fit and look is essential! While the color seems bright and bold, and the pieces themselves seem to offer a good fit, you’ll be hearing from me soon about the final result.

Have You Found Just My Size at Walmart?

There’s just something about European plus-size collections that I love… British ones as well. They really pump up the trend factor when it comes to seasonal collections, and many of their pieces would appeal to the non-plus as well.

Would you wear this dress? I think the price (just over $100) is reasonable, and black is always versatile. It is here, and yes–they do ship to the States! What do you think?

Affordable Bra in Sizes to 54DDD

This particular coat is a soft-swing version that’s comfortably roomy, with an open front. If you have any thick wool sweaters or other heavy knits, you might want to check out this option. It’s a good way to layer without getting overly weighed down or looking like your jacket is hanging open by accident.

I promise that the next time I feature a leather jacket, it’ll be one that’s vegan-friendly… pleather, if you will, but trust me, it’ll be way classier. I’ve seen some good ones, and have been bookmarking them as I go along.

Leather Jacket, Part Deux

Just the other day, I was having a war with a pair of leather boots from Evans London… slipping these on felt much better. Sure, they are an acquired taste, with a mostly fabric upper, but you know these will bridge the gap just perfectly between your winter and spring wardrobes as well. Plus, Oprah liked them! That’s enough for me.

My Little Leather Going-Out Jacket

I’m going to wear this one with my first experimental necklace purchase–chunky and colorful, it pushes outfit boundaries no matter with what it gets matched. It’s going to be the holidays soon enough, and that means plenty of color, festivities, accessories, and cheer–and this tank in either color will blend right in with all the fun. You know what else I’m tempted to wear it with? A beret! I’ll get to that one next.

Starting the Party at Old Navy’ll

I’m going to layer this shrug with high boots and a soft t-shirt from Old Navy this week, and then I’ll branch out to raglan-sleeve shirts and woolly stuff. If the weather keeps up the way it is here in Miami, I’ll also be able to–gasp–put on a full-length long sleeved sweater and maybe even an overcoat.

Have you been buying much from Faith 21? While this is only $19.80 at over there, I try not to let the prices woo me every time. It’s a great price point to mix into a fully fleshed-out wardrobe, but I don’t want to see it by itself all the time.
