Amazing Plus Bargain from Liz Claiborne

Faith21, which promises to soon deliver extended sizing to 3X (yessss!), has a great pair of skinny jeans which I’m hoping to snag. They look pretty “clean,” which means they’ll match with everything, and I’m tempted to scoop up my textured wintry stuff and prepare for their arrival in advance.

This style jacket is a great way to add a tiny bit of definition to your silhouette, because it has a sash, and the oversized collar is very stylish. I’m definitely going to be wearing mine with dark jeans and low boots, because it’s a never-fail look that’ll last you through the season.

Wool-Blend Coats on Sale at Old Navy

The Hallo Jacket ($173) has a functional and pretty texture of diamond-shaped topstitching, but it also employs some great detailing along the sleeves and button placket to make this piece stand out. Since we’re looking for functional pieces this time of year, I was pretty excited to see that this jacket features a higher-than-normal collar and a waist sash to keep out drafts, making this piece warmer than you might expect. I’ll probably layer it over a faux fur gilet when the weather gets colder, just so I can wear it longer!

Of course, you can wear this tee with leggings or treggings if you prefer, but lounging around the house all day in it will just be too tempting for words! Slip into a 1/2X or a 3/4X (if only they had a 5/6X as well) and lazy around–this is one divine shirt for casual relaxation.

Super Comfy Sleeping

At first I was thinking that it was weird to have dear Edward here emblazoned across my chest, but the idea is growing on me after catching some of the recent Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart outtakes! What can I say? Their energy has managed to convert me into a minor fan, meaning that by the holidays, I’ll probably have a couple of these tees in my collection. Nobody will know about, but I might slip one under a hoodie for a walk or two!

Loving Edward in My Plus Tee

The color is an acquired taste, but I was breezing right past that to admire its border-print hem and highly flattering 3/4-length sleeves. This is a sweet piece for wearing underneath a leather jacket or a cropped blazer, and I’m almost tempted to go wild and pair it with this vintage crochet vest I “borrowed” from my mom. Such a unique piece!

Great Plus Find at Dillard’s

This is one of those “toss on a hat and a pin, and you’re done” type dresses. You can easily wear this to work, if you can dress casually, and don’t even get me started on how appropriate this is with a peacoat!

While I love the cream (I’m really feeling winter whites and their friends this year), they also have it in black for anyone who prefers. You could really get some mod style going if you’d like, even in the rain–for some reason, patterned galoshes sound like a really tempting addition.

Loving This Cropped Faux Fur

Don’t forget that these leggings from eShakti, which go up to size 3X, are actually available in custom sizing as well. Have you ever even heard of custom-sized leggings? I hadn’t, especially not ones that cost $19.95 before the custom fitting charge (which is quite small). While I was obsessing over eShakti’s lighter-colored leggings, I know that the darker stuff is definitely the way to go.

eShakti now ships in 3 days, which is yet another improvement on their previous 5, and I always love what they offer over there. Their tunics are also amazing, and will go perfectly with those super-stretchy ruched leggings!

These leggings also have zippers along the ankles. Too cute!
