Okay let’s start with the good news…which is that Mischa Barton’s hair and makeup look fab.  But the bad news is that everything from the neck down is dreadful.  Mischa Barton attended the Metropolitan Opera’s season opening in NYC with designer Zac Posen and made this terribly unfortunate outfit decision.

Michael Emerson took home the Best Supporting Actor award from the recently concluded 2009 Primetime Emmy’s. Michael plays Ben from the ABC hit, LOST. For the night’s red carpet, Michael worked with renowned stylist to the stars, Colin Megaro, to look and match his wife’s gorgeous Mako Takada gown.

If you are an Entourage fan then you will be as happy as I am to see Jamie- Lynn Sigler and the guy who plays Turtle are actually dating in real life!  Is it crazy how much art imitates life in this situation?  I really had no idea what the actor who plays Turtle’s real name was (it’s Jerry Ferrara in case you were wondering) and had to look it up just now.

A lot of times it seems as though awards shows are almost completely monochromatic with everyone choosing to play it safe if white or black. While that can be nice, it’s always a relief when someone shows up on the red carpet in a splash of color.  This year’s 2009 Emmy Awards had a decent mix of neutrals with bright shades and as a viewer I appreciated that!
